This outdoor recreation structure, located on the Malahat Nation territory, blends seamlessly with its forested surroundings, offering 360-degree views of Finlayson Arm, the Gulf Islands, and Mount Baker.

  • Wide Open Welding supplied approximately 850,000 pounds of steel for the project, including the iconic spiral staircase and over 500 linear feet of custom radius railings.

    This project exemplifies the seamless integration of mass timber and steel components, showcasing our expertise in delivering complex, innovative structures that harmonize with their natural surroundings.

A 650-meter treetop walk and a 30-meter spiral ramp provide accessible paths to the lookout platform, ensuring everyone can experience this unique vantage point. The SkyWalk’s galvanized steel and glulam construction showcase durability and harmony with nature, making it a true marvel of engineering and design.
